Edward Sanderson's powerful, color splashed paintings are full of energy and drama. This self-taught artist paints with bold, vivid colors using innovative styles and techniques to portray a carefree world full of color and light. Whether impressionistic, expressionistic or abstract, Edward's works glow with inner light.
Edward began his career as an artist for Walt Disney World. He soon began to freelance as a graphic designer and illustrator while exploring a wide range of art forms, but soon realized that fine art painting was his true passion. After pursuing a degree in fine arts at UCF, Edward travelled to Europe, studying art in the world's great museums. Cezanne and Van Gogh particularly influenced him, and upon returning to the US, Edward continued to explore new techniques while his art became commissioned by art collectors worldwide.
Edward has donated his time and his paintings to many charitable foundations such as; The Arnold Palmer Foundation, The Golden Rule Foundation, The United Way, and The American Cancer Society. The reception his art has recieved at fundraisers led him to decide to exhibit in juried art shows. He is already making his presence known, receiving awards and ribbons in nationally recognized juried shows, including the Best Of Show at the 2005 Celebration Art Festival.
Edward was chosen as the 2005 Lake Mary-Heathrow Art Festival poster artist.
